Would You Rather Eat Ketchup or Mustard?

Condiments can be surprisingly controversial. I just don't understand how some people can hate mustard, for example, while other folks I know would bathe in ketchup if they could. So with all this talk of Memorial Day grilling, I'm wondering which condiment you'd choose.

Ketchup for fries and burgers. Mustard for hotdogs

I can't eat ketchup on it's own unless it's on french fries. I can have mustard on somethings but I actually prefer BBQ sauce or hot sauce. Ketchup and Mustard are the most boring condiments.

I can't stand ketchup and don't care for mustard unless it's honey mustard, and even then I'm picky about it. I'm strange about condiments in general. Relish, mayo, sour krout, I don't care for most of the "classic" condiments. I do love BBQ sauce however, and one of my favourite things for fries is malt vinegar. go figure.

I usually throw salsa on everything but for burger or fries I really like Heinz 57 sauce

i'm totally a ketchup person...i put it on so many things that people make fun of me. i've even been known to eat kethup out of the packet w/o anything else.

I'd rather eat ketchup, but its SO loaded with sugar. I've come to love and appreciate all of the different mustards that exist.

I loooooove mustard. I slather it on corn dogs and hot dogs and things like that. I will eat ketchup on fries, but I don't need it. I like it just as much with mustard on fries. Yum!

I hate mustard (except for on McDonald's cheeseburgers) so my vote is for ketchup! Salsa is my fave condiment though.

The way mustard smells is so disgusting. My roommate eats it on a lot of things, and somehow, it ends up on me. Seriously, once there was mustard encrusted in my cell phone. It's so horrible. All my friends tease me about my innate ability to put my hand in it, or have it get splashed on me, no matter how careful I am to avoid it. Mustard. Ew.

OOOH Somebody said sriracha!!! Good choice for condiment. I love mustard on hot dogs and sammies. Burgers get both ketchup and mustard unless I have avocado (then no ketchup) I do ranch on fries when I eat them, although sometimes I will do equal parts ketchup and mustard on the fries too.

And the mustard has to be a bit spice (Emerils, Grey Poupon) I hate the regular French's Mustard; too blah.

Mustard. I don't really care for ketchup, unless it is mixed with some mayo on my soy burger. However I really like mustard; for sandwiches, fries, etc...

it depends... I only eat ketchup on certain fries - steak fries or crinkle cut I only eat mustard on corndogs and turkey sandwiches I only eat mustard & ketchup together on cheeseburgers
