My mom makes the best nola cooking, so I don't need to go to Emeril's, but I voted for him anyway because I freaking hate Bobby Flay... he just seems sooooo conceited. But maybe that's just me.

i've actually been to both chef's places and i enjoyed both. i think that i found more to eat at Bobby's restaurant (cafe americain) but i wasn't as wowed as i had hoped.

i've eaten at 2 of emeril's places in NO and both were fantastic, i'd certainly go back. but i've never been to any of bobby flay's so i'd like to try those too. i'd like to try mario batali's too.

I've eaten at two Emeril restaurants and have to say, they know what they are doing. Very fine experiences.

I have been to BF places in NYC and I would never go back. Rudy service, food okay... totally over-rated. One of the people at our table chipped a tooth on a rock found in the black beans and rice and the server just shrugged and walked away. Many many of my friends have gone to BF establishments and they all say the same thing... Just for tourists... not for people who know good food and good service..

I've been to Mesa Grill in the Bahamas and it was divine. everything about that dining experience was A++. And Bobby Flay is a fox.

I'm not that into burgers, but I'd love to try some great authentic NO cuisine, so I'd love to check out Emeril's place.

I have been to Emeril's so would really like to try Bobby's. I still think about the chocolate souffle at Emeril's, it was wonderful. We also sat at this bar area where you could watch them cook. This was back in 2000.

While I'd go to either if I had the opportunity, I'd rather go to Paula Deen's place for comfort food.

There are a lot of celeb chef restaurants I would like to go to and Bobby Flay and Emeril are not at the top of that list. I would really like to go to Blue Hill, Dan Barber's restaurant and not just because the Obama's went there the other night.

Much as I love NOLA cuisine, I just don't see the appeal of celeb chef restaurants. I feel like most of them are overhyped and wayyyy overpriced.

I'm from New Orleans so I love going to restaurants that serve NO cuisine to see if it compares to the real thing. I'm sure Emeril has mastered the art of cajun so I'd love to go to his restaurant.

I have been to Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill and it was FANTASTIC!!! Definitely one of the best meals I've ever had....and I go to A LOT of restaurants. The flavors were perfect, never too spicy or overwhelming. I thing that is consistent with most celebrity chef's restaurants. They obviously have a reputation to uphold, so they are going to do everything in their power to make sure their food is amazing (plus they have the money to spare).

I actually enjoy eating at Celeb chef restaurants. I enjoy watching cooking shows, but always feel a bit curious about how good their food really is. At least by eating at their restaurants you can get an idea of how skilled they really are. Todd English? Decent. Jamie Oliver? AMAZING. His food is so simple, but just perfect.

Am I the first ? I said Bobby ^^ I'm more into burgers, but i actually don't know anything about N-O cooking so, if my man wants to take me to emeril's, why not :p
