I love both, but pecan pie is so sweet and rich that it only takes a few bites before I'm done.

I'll take both! Mmmm... The last couple of years I have been making a sort of turtle pie. I just add chocolate and caramel chips to my pecan pie mixture before baking.

I'm a huge fan of apple pie, but that wasn't an option here. I don't really like pumpkin pie all that much, so pecan is it. Last year I made pumpkin muffins with a cheesecake frosting that was a big hit, though!

Pumpkin pie for me :) Pecan pie is too sweet for me. But I would like to give sweet potato pie a try. I never had it before. Rancher'sGirl, apple upside down cake?? That sounds yummy.

Mm, I looove pumpkin pie! I don't really go for custardy things, so I don't find pecan pie too appealing. Also, I tend to find it to be too rich.

Gingerbread and apple upside down cake sounds very droolworthy to me...or pumpkin pecan cheesecake...or even better, homemade apple crisp, Grandma's Southern-style recipe...sigh of contentment.LOL :) :drool:

Sweet Potato and Key Lime for me. I made a White Potato pie once that came out of left field and pleasantly surprised everyone. I got that recipe from Southern Living Magazine.
