Far and away my favorite meal of ANY day! Eggs and french toast and biscuits and bacon...what could be better??? http://foodieandfork.wordpress.com
the sweet just sounds too heavy for me. a mix of a little of each sounds good =]
Between pancakes, home fries and tofu scramble, i don't think i can choose! But always with coffee :-)
Our brunches always include a healthy mix of both. Its nice to have choices..haha
Both at the same time Bacon eggs benedics maple syrup toast... cheese and jam on toast God im so hungry now!
I love both, but I always wind up going with savory. Eggs benny, scrambles, corned beef hash, chicken hash, all the way!
when ever i go out for brunch, i always aim for the more savory types, however i stick to eggs (egg whites) and tomato slices rather than the meats since i'm a veggie and i don't really go for the potatoes since i'm trying to be healthier.
Gimmie both! I love to have both sweet and savory items during brunch :)
I like dishes that represent both. The last restaurant brunch menu that I created had a Savory Stuffed French Toast: brioche stuffed with bacon, sausage, green onions, tomatoes and white cheddar, topped with Honey Jalapeno Glaze. Sweet, savory and spicy and one of my top sellers!
Is it really sad that I like my porridge for breakfast so much that I'm not really into brunch, even on the weekends? Yes. It is. Never mind. :) As much as I love blueberry pancakes and maple syrup, I'm still leaning toward savoury. Egg windows, fresh bread and butter, cheese scones. Yum.
Savory for me. Eggs bennedict if possible, cooked by someone else is even better.
I like both. Huevos Rancheros and French Toast are my favorite brunch items!
Give me both.
I love bacon and eggs and hash browns with waffles! Both savory and sweet! That's the perfect brunch, along with a mimosa of course!
Just had a BLT :)
I like both, but it really depends on my mood at the moment.
I can't imagine a proper brunch without both savory and sweet being represented.
I tend towards sweet for breakfast . . . but brunch I go for savory more. Then again, I'm usually up and hungry right away on weekends, so I eat breakfast. Even if friends ask me to meet them for "brunch" it is so close to lunch time that I eat lunch (hence the preference for savory during "brunch time").
I like to have both. I like the combination of sweet & savory foods, like pancakes with bacon.
im more of a breakfast person, but savory is my fav type of food.
Like I need an excuse to drink during the day... I enjoy mixing both sweet and savory things on my plate. Brunch is the best.
I love both. My favorite brunch place serves complimentary little fried doughnut bites drizzled in honey, so I order something savory and enjoy both! They also have a $10 bottomless mimosa deal, doesn't get much better than that!
Hash browns and bacon!
I love both! I will say I lean more towards savory side, but I tend to do that will all things anyways
