DeviousMuse, that's awesome I'm gonna try to find recycled paper straws for my bar! I didn't know you could get such a thing,... chiefdishwasher, mine too haha... a rolled up Canadian bill just doesn't look Hollywood enough :P

I prefer straws, from a hygiene standpoint, but also because drinking things with ice is easier that way (but I don't put ice in my drinks at home). Ted's Montana Grill has recycledpaper straws, which I love, as they're environmentally friendly.

I love straws! I always have colorful ones @ home. I end up biting them when my drink is done though. bad habit.

I love using them when drinking soda to minimize the damage to my teeth... and they're fun to play with!

I like straws for stirring. I don't always sip through them because someone once told me doing this too often will hasten wrinkles around the mouth!

I'm using one right now w/my Rockstar Roasted Latte and I usually use one so my lipstick stays on my lips.

I love straws for the most part, but sometimes I like to drink without them. My mom HATES straws...every time she orders a soda at a fast food place, she takes the entire lid off and drinks the soda straight from the cup and crunches up the ice with her teeth.

YES! i'm very much a fan of straws. i actually really don't like it when i go somewhere and they don't give me a straw. i know that glasses are run through hot water and washed, but it kind of grosses me out to think that my lips are going in the same place that someone elses were...

I always use straws with cans because you never really know whose dirty hands have touched them, but they're environmentally disastrous so I try to pass on them when possible.
