Last week my significant assistant dishwasher was working a picket line with 40 others. I made them mini flank steak sliders with arugula and parmesean chips and mini bagels with smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onions and capers. they were all gone in a few minutes.

I just love the way they look! I like making mini versions of regular food to serve as appetizers...like mini quiches or mini burgers. Sometimes I make mini pizzas on crackers that always go over really well.

For me it's not saving on the calories because they're mini-sized, but instead, it allows me to choose MULTIPLE items to taste instead of one large portion of the same thing...hahaha

i often eat too many minis in one sitting! i think the real deal is a much better portion gauge.

oh man this post made me so happy! as my boyfriend would tell anyone, i'm a sucker for "tiny things!" lol. so yes, little food definitely is included. when there was that recipe for mini apple pies, i made a batch straight away!
