Did you notice anything different at your local 7-Eleven this weekend? Like perhaps a small Kwik-E-Mart makeover? If so, then your 7-Eleven was one of twelve stores to receive a promotional Simpsons Movie facelift. The facelift included removing the 7-Eleven logo and replacing it with a Kwik-E-Mart one instead. They (and most of the 6,000 North American 7-Elevens) will also offer items previously only seen in the land of Homer and pals, including: Squishees, KrustyOs and Buzz Cola. The craziest part is that unlike most promotional campaigns, this time it's the retailer (7-Eleven), and not the movie studio (Fox) who is picking up the tab - reportedly "somewhere in the single millions." I personally don't have one that close to me, but I did stop by a 7-Eleven to partake in a Squishee. I opted for a mix of sour watermelon and cherry. What flavor would you have chosen?

1I heard about this and I think its funny too!
2There's one right by my office, I'm a little suprised they'd pick that one because it always looks deserted but it is in a high traffic area!
3Now it makes sense. I was at the 7-11 on Saturday and saw Krusty-Os. I almost bought some.

9i went to the one on 42nd st in nyc this morning. its decked out, employees even wearing apu quik-e-mart uniforms. the cw11 news was there and the producers of the show gave out pink frosted sprinkled doughnuts.
i'm going back for krusty-o's...the bf made a request.
10I got some BUZZ Cola this AM, but they were out of Krusty-O's. BOO. The one in Seattle gets robbed all the time, but I can see why they chose that spot - it's right near the Space Needle and so a big tourist area. It was really fun just to go in tho! : )

26my dad works at warner brothers...so the one in burbank is down the street! my boyfriend brought home a squishee last night and we are saving the cup. my dad said it looks so cool I might have to take a drive down to burbank tonight to check it out...

36On our way home from a BBQ last night we stopped at the one in LA (around Culver City). It was PACKED- there was a line to get in and everyone was taking pictures, even though it's been there for a week now! They were sold out of everything except Squishies and pink donuts. I got Blue Vanilla and a donut and I thought it tasted like a sugar rush! I've never had anything so sugary, it was nuts! Lots of fun, though, and I haven't watched the Simpsons in YEARS.
