Yum Market Finds: Young at Heart

I'm not sure why, but it seems like my friends and I are constantly hunting for things that make us recall our youth and feel like kids again. I'd say that it was unique to us, but when I was going through the Yum Market it was pretty obvious that we're not the only ones. Do you remember the Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine? TeamSugar member amh678 bookmarked this cultural icon and it, along with all the other things below, are whisking me back to my youth.

ack. the kids i babysit have this. i do all the work, pushing the ice down, turning the handle, my muscles can't handle the work. And sometimes I don't think little plastic snoopy can either.

yes I have two of these! I collect Snoopy and I was given one as a gift but I had to keep it in the box so I would never use it! My fam made fun of me so they bought me another one so I could use at least one of them! hee hee

I bookmarked those panda salt and pepper shakers a few days ago!! I love them. And the Snoopy Snocone maker is one of my favorite "retro" toys...I believe my father still has mine stored away somewhere. He saved all my favorite toys from the 80s.

I owned this as a child... I almost bought one over the summer when I saw it at the craft store, but my mom dissuaded me. She told me it took FOREVER to make a sno-cone. (I was going to bring it to my pre-school)
