I also got this in red from amazon for my boyfriends (and mine) Christmas present. You can make gelato, goat milk ice cream, sorbets, alcoholic frozen drinks, The ice creams hold up for a good 3 days after you make them. The gelato is the best thing Ive ever tasted but eat fresh! It cost me under 50 dollars and is so worth it. We are trying a chili chocolate ice cream recipe this week. I love it.

I bought this last August, but Amazon only had red and white, I'm so bummed I love this green. TMI - I had gc from Amazon so I didn't look anywhere else, I have the red and I'm crying cause the green is so much nicer......And did yours come with scoop? Mine didn't whaaaaaaaaaa...... @ laurenot this unit is pretty cheap compared to others and works very well for me. FYI - my old ice cream maker lasted 25 years and we used it plenty of times. Motor finally died and was cheaper to buy new one that replace motor. Oh yea, buy the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Cookbook - super simply recipes, easily adapted to your tastes. Happy Eating!
