While there're plenty of fancy modern picnic baskets with built-in plates and grass-resistant fabric, I'm a fan of classic picnic baskets like this one from Target ($24.99). It's perfect for packing a portable feast and a couple bottles of wine. Dolores Park, here I come!

That popsicle maker looks awesome. The Williams Sonoma site has a video on how to use it, I watched it a month ago and have wanted it ever since. I wouldn't spend $50 on it, but for a family who eats a lot of frozen treats, it would be worth it.

I agree. NO popsicle maker is worth 50 bucks & I can't afford to spend 300 bucks for a stand mixer (no matter the bells & whistles) UNLESS they were 60% off or I won them. - I am the proud owner of a stand mixer purchased OVER 20 years ago that still works like it did when 1st used... How long will anyone use this after something else comes along with MORE bells & whistles to it? Sometimes it's better to stick with simple than fancy.

I agree.
