Hi! when I was little my parents used to do the same thing and I loved it even when I wasn't sick =p I end up on this page because i was searching something about this subject for my friends, to know one of the uses of the coke ;) I'm from Portugal that's why they don't know this stuff and I'm chinese/portuguese =D

My mother has been making this for me for years... It actually helps... and it tastes good.. Diet Coke doesn't work as great as regular Coke.

What are the proportions of Coke and ginger? This makes me think of the movie Blast From the Past where Christopher Walken's character drinks hot Dr. Pepper.

I definitely believe in this one even though I haven't tried it yet. Next time I'm feeling sick or have a cold, I'm going to give it a try!

This actually sounds good and like it makes sense to me. Coke has always had a spice to it that I wondered if it was ginger. And both Coke and ginger settle your stomach, right? Sounds like a keeper. :)
