These were nothing like McD’s, tasty if you are in the mood for parsley and oregano nuggets in flavorless breading, but definately not your normal nugget. My advice, put salt, garlic and onion powder in the flour instead of the meat, and add water to the eggs then maybe. This recipe was messy, time consuming and didn’t taste anything like a chicken nugget, really disappointing.

I am not fond of mcD's nuggets but let me suggest this. I wanted a chicken salad one night for dinner, so I took chicken breast, cut it up in bite size pieces. Then tried two different ways, covered some of them with eggs and the rest without. The covered with flour. Deep fat fried them for about six minutes. They were pretty good, not enough spice, so the next day daughter wanted more, so I cut up another chicken breast this time without eggs. We couldn't tell the difference in them, so I was wondering how it could be a little more taster, so I added Season Salt. Not only did they taste better they were a nicer color as well. My daughter and I have both decided now that we know how to make nuggets like Wendy's and Zaby's Which she is a HUGE fan of, we don't need to waste the money eating out when we can simply eat at home. We have had them as snacks every day since. It's easy, cost savings, and we can have as many as we want without worrying about how long they have been setting out. So if you have little kids who enjoy nuggets let me suggest this. Just take Flour, and season salt, mix together, then bread the chicken. My fryer is set at 375 and it normally takes about six minutes, depends on how many and how crunchy you like them

Well, since no other guys posted about this I guess I will, these are awesome. There is another recipe out there for chicken mcnuggets, but they came out horrible and took almost 2 hours to prepare and cook. These took about 15 minutes all together, and although they don't taste exactly like mcdonalds nuggets (i guess i will have to experiment with different spices) they have the exact same texture. One note, do not blend these until they are a super fine paste, the nuggets will come out a little rubbery, I think if you blend them until they are a coarser paste, they will come out tender like mcdonalds. I will have to try. Thanks again for this awesome recipe.

how interesting! this would be fun to try, however, reading about the chicken as a paste kind of makes me want to throw up. and i like chicken nuggets, so i know the paste tastes good...

these are my guilty pleasure..i make sure not to have them more than twice a year...can't wait to see if these are the real thing..guess i will have to swipe some sweet and sour sauce...
