Yummy Link: Michelob Ultra Fruit Infused Beer

Michelob has announced a new line of fruit infused beers. In theory I should love this, after all I love lambic and I love hard cider, but something about it bothers me. Like it seems like it's meant for kids, right? I guess I should wait and give it a try before deciding. After all, a lime cactus beer sounds like it could be pretty refreshing. - Slashfood

Yeah, but what does it taste like? I am not a beer drinker, I thought I would like the Michelob Michelada beer. I think they are called Cheladas or something. They tasted like regular beer to me. I prefer something that doesn't taste like beer! Heh heh

I am guessing that this is a product that is trying to compete with the fruit-flavored products that Bacardi and Smirnoff have now that are so popular. They are brewed too, so they are found where you can buy beer (some states have it separated where you can buy beer and wine)... [must be exhausting to lose your own game]

I'm going to have to try that Lime Cactus one with some chips and salsa, they do sound sweeter, so perhaps it will be a margarita replacement?! Only part I'll be sad about is if I actually like them, and they go off market too fast.

When in doubt DANCE!!! I saw the citrus michelob ultra, i think it was tangerine or something but anywho, and since i abhor the taste of beer but love all things fruity, i would be willing to buy this. if i hate it i can always give it to my fiancee since he likes michelob ultra way more than i ever possibly could, ,would, or admit, and i give myself bonus brownie points for remaining to be open-minded and trying new things!
