I love sushi and have always had an interest in trying Blowfish. Suffice it to say, I will NOT be risking my life to try this particular delicacy!

woah! this post reminds me of the story i just read about how several people are dying in thailand bc blowfish meat were being passed off as salmon!! isn't that crazy???anyways, here's the linkhttp://nationmultimedia.com/2007/08/23/national/national_30046158.phpbut i've seen on tv this guy eating blowfish and he says it doesn't really taste like anything special but it does have a novicaine (sp?) effect in your mouth.when i read kitchen confidential, anthony bourdain ate blowfish in japan and he said that it didn't really taste as amazing as he'd hope, it didn't blow his mind (lol) but he did have to say in the restaurant for at least 45? minutes bc it's necessary for you to be watched after eating blowfish bc the host needs to make sure you weren't poisoned.
