the vegetarian article was great! i forwarded it to all of my friends. i tried going vegan, but it's too difficult. i eat minimal meat now, but the smell of bacon is really amazing. like crack to bobby brown. and it's so true, i used to love burgers and now i don't care and am somewhat disgusted with the appearance and feel of raw meat

I eat very minimal meat now, and I can't stand to eat pork chops, but the smell of pork chops is awesome. The smell of bacon wakes me up better than anything else.

I recommend the vegetarian article from Slate. I was a vegetarian for about 6 years (minimal meat intake now) and the smell of bacon was always alluring. It's a great take on vegetarianism from an amiable nonmilitant perspective.
