That ravioli looks amazing!
1You've never had fried ravioli before???
2I don't know. I remember seeing it on menus but I'm not sure I've eaten it. I'm just excited that I can make it (and the fried cheese!) at home.
3Mmmmmmm fried raviolis
The Monterey Bay Aquarium has a lot of really useful info on sustainable seafood, including a little brochure you can print and keep in your purse or wallet. It's specific to the region you live in (east coast, west coast, central USA, world) so that helps a lot when you go to the store.
4Oh and I think they just had an event there focusing on sustainable seafood...with special guest ALTON BROWN! I was soooo bummed I couldn't go...
5Here's the website for more info....

Toasted ravioli (fried) is a St. Louis specialty. We've been making it for about a 150 years. It's so good!
9I've never had it either...not big into ANYTHING fried.
