Ron Howard came out last night to support the 21st annual Alzheimer's Association's A Night at Sardi's event. We caught up with the legendary actor-turned-director on the purple carpet to talk about what drew him to last night's charitable, and very musical, event. While he maintained he would not be one of the stars performing, he reminisced about his first public singing experience, as well as the recent reunion with his Happy Days mom, Marion Ross. Ron was also exited to chat about the fan-favorite Arrested Development, which is being rebooted as a series on Netflix.
Vanessa Hudgens visited The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night to promote her latest film, Spring Breakers. The actress wore her hair up in a ponytail with a bright yellow beaded Alice + Olivia dress. During the interview, Vanessa shared behind-the-scenes secrets from shooting a few of the film's racier moments and even showed off the "booty popping" dance moves that won her an on-set contest. Backstage, Vanessa and Jay posed for an Instagram photo, adding to the many social snaps Vanessa and her costars Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, and James Franco have taken during the promotions. Spring Breakers premiered in LA last Friday, and the film is in theaters tomorrow.
Sienna Miller went shopping in the SoHo neighborhood of NYC yesterday with Marlowe Sturridge strapped in tight to her chest. The actress pulled her blond hair back into a loose half-up 'do, while she gave Marlowe an adorable mini ponytail that stuck straight up. Marlowe was dressed in the warm onesie she also wore when Sienna and Tom Sturridge braved the cold NYC temperatures on Sunday.
Sienna ran errands solo in SoHo earlier in the week, but the proud mom looked happy to have her little companion with her for this daytime outing. Sienna may have a night out soon, as the premiere of Tom's Broadway play, Orphans, is fast approaching. Tom will take the stage with Alec Baldwin and Shia LaBeouf's replacement, Ben Foster, when the production opens on March 26.
David Beckham arrived in Beijing today to attend a junior football event with students at a middle school. David is on a five-day visit to China at the invitation of the China Football Association as its first international ambassador. The former star of the LA Galaxy took to the stage during a news conference to accept his new role and a medal of honor, and also to address the infamous match-fixing scandals of China's football league, saying it doesn't concern him. David also mentioned he hasn't ruled out playing for China professionally someday, then tucked in his tie and hit the field for an impromptu scrimmage with a few young players. The trip comes just after his stay in Berlin, where he launched his H&M underwear line.
Charlize Theron went to work on the set of Hatfields & McCoys in Boston yesterday. The East Coast weather didn't hinder her style as she arrived on site with a scarf, sunglasses, and a pair of black boots. The layered look was a far cry from her ensemble last week, when Charlize hiked Runyon Canyon in a tank top with her son, Jackson Theron.
Charlize is stepping into the role of executive producer on NBC's new made-for-TV movie Hatfields & McCoys. The story of the infamous family feud was recently portrayed on the History Channel's Emmy-winning miniseries of the same name, with Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton. This version will feature an entirely new cast, including Sophia Bush, who was on the Hatfields & McCoys set yesterday as well.
Sienna Miller wrapped herself in a fur-lined jacket for an outing in NYC yesterday. Wearing embroidered red and gold ankle boots and gray jeans, the stylish actress stopped by an ATM then hailed a cab in SoHo. Although Sienna was solo yesterday, she carried baby Marlowe Sturridge in a puffy onesie with her on Sunday when she stepped out with her other half, Tom Sturridge.
The couple are counting down the days until Tom's play, Orphans, opens on March 26. Tom will star opposite Alec Baldwin and Ben Foster, who stepped in for Shia LaBeouf after his feud with Alec reportedly led him to leave the show. Sienna will also return to the spotlight again soon as her latest film, Foxcatcher, will hit the big screen later this year. The project pairs her with Steve Carell and Channing Tatum, who attended his G.I. Joe: Retaliation premiere in London last night.

Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge bundled up baby Marlowe Sturridge for a Sunday stroll in NYC. Marlowe was so adorable in her puffy onesie that her doting mom kept planting kisses on her as the family of three strolled down the street. Sienna combated the cool temperatures with a heavy coat but maintained her style with red flats and framed shades. Marlowe has been her constant companion since she was born last Summer, but Sienna has managed to keep up with work, too. Her current project, Foxcatcher, pairs her with Channing Tatum and Steve Carell and is scheduled to premiere later this year.
Tom has been hard at work as well, with his new play, Orphans, set to open on March 26. The production has been the center of controversy over the past few weeks, with a rumored feud between Alec Baldwin and Shia LaBeouf, before Ben Foster stepped in for Shia's role. Tom and Alec will have more in common than just the production soon, as Alec announced that he and his wife are expecting a baby girl.
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky went rug shopping in Santa Monica on Saturday with their daughter, India Hemsworth, along for the outing. Elsa carried their 10-month-old while showing off her laid-back style in a beanie, high-tops, and dangling suspenders. Chris coordinated in distressed jeans and a gray t-shirt and pulled his blonder-looking locks back into a ponytail.
Chris is back in LA after spending time with his parents and younger brother in their native Australia last week. They hung out at Liam Hemsworth's new $1.6 million bachelor pad, which was reportedly purchased by his parents. The getaway coincided with Liam's reported relationship troubles with Miley Cyrus. Finding an escape of her own, Miley was poolside in a bikini this weekend in Palm Desert, CA. Despite the drama, Liam has maintained a busy work schedule, recently wrapping the second installment of The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, while big brother Chris currently has three sequels in the works — Thor: The Dark World, Snow White and the Huntsman 2, and The Avengers 2.

Hollywood stars had a heavy workload this week. Emma Stone was pretty in purple for Amazing Spider-Man 2 scenes in NYC, and down in Miami, Isla Fisher was on the beach in a bikini. Click through to see more of this week's stars on set!
Charlize Theron traveled in a pack for a hike up Hollywood's Runyon Canyon this morning. The actress was joined by her son, Jackson Theron, a pal, and several dogs for the fitness-filled outing. One-year-old Jackson was looking handsome in his stroller after his recent hair trim, while mom Charlize rocked her short blond cut that's been growing out since she shaved her head for Mad Max: Fury Road. The mother-son duo scored a pre-workout treat earlier in the week when Charlize and Jackson went to Pinkberry for some frozen yogurt.
Last week, Charlize devoted her time to promoting International Women's Day. The philanthropy-focused star tweeted throughout the day about several organizations with like-minded motives to support girl's education in third-world countries. As the founder of the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, she also teamed up with TOMS for a third time to release a limited-edition pair of TOMS's classics this month. The collaboration aims to keep African youth safe from HIV/AIDS by supporting local community organizations and education.
Emma Stone left NYC yesterday and headed to the West Coast. The actress navigated her way through LAX Airport wearing a suede peacoat and shades after spending much of the week on the Amazing Spider-Man 2 set in the Big Apple with her boyfriend, Andrew Garfield. Emma and Andrew have been filming the Spider-Man sequel together, but recently, Emma doubled up on the workload with another costar. She and Ryan Reynolds promoted their animated comedy, The Croods, last weekend, stopping by the Today show and attending The Croods' NYC premiere.
Although Emma's time with the Spider-Man franchise may be cut short with Shailene Woodley entering the scene as Peter Parker's new love interest, her film career isn't slowing down. It was just announced that Emma will star in Birdman, a dark comedy set to be shot on a Broadway stage, along with Naomi Watts, Edward Norton, and Zach Galifianakis.
Isla Fisher headed out in LA with her daughters Olive and Elula yesterday. The actress paired a teal dress with a blazer as she held her youngest daughter's hand. Her outing continued with a coffee stop as she returned to routine after a short trip to Miami. Isla filmed scenes in a bikini earlier this week for an Elmore Leonard project, which also has Jennifer Aniston sporting blond locks. The two actresses worked on the movie together in Connecticut earlier this month, but last week, Isla reunited with her daughters in LA for a short break. Though this film has yet to be titled, another one of Isla's films is already building up hype among fans. The Great Gatsby, staring Isla, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Carey Mulligan, is set to hit theaters May 10.
Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen attended the CFDA 2013 nominations event in NYC yesterday. The sisters weren't up for any awards this year but they showed their support for the new round of nominees. Earlier in the day, Mary-Kate and Ashley attended to business around the city. The two designers have been taking meetings all over town since Ashley's return from Paris Fashion Week a few days ago. Mary-Kate skipped out on the event this year, catching a Knicks game with her boyfriend, Olivier Sarkozy, instead.
The Olsens may find themselves in a different audience soon, as their younger sister Elizabeth Olsen will star as Juliet in an off-Broadway production of Shakespeare's classic play. Elizabeth will take the stage when Romeo and Juliet opens the Classic Stage Company's 2013/2014 season in the Fall.
Alessandra Ambrosio kept it casual in Brentwood yesterday, after a busy few days of modeling bikinis and cocktail dresses. The Victoria's Secret Angel sported a pink sweater, light jeans, and a pair of pastel-frame shades while running an errand in the LA neighborhood.
Earlier this week, Alessandra launched Victoria's Secret's 2013 swim collection with fellow brand ambassadors Karlie Kloss and Candice Swanepoel. Later in the day, they hosted a live Twitter chat for fans, then stopped by the Beverly Center store for a meet and greet. The trio celebrated a hard day's work at the celebrity-packed VS swim line launch party in Beverly Hills that night, where Alessandra put her new Instagram account to use — see more celebrities using Instagram here!
Jennifer Garner stepped out in NYC yesterday after wrapping up the Neutrogena Sun Summit event. The actress kept warm in a pink sweater and scarf as she exited a building in Columbus Circle with a smile. As Neutrogena's brand ambassador, Jennifer was in the city to speak about the skin-damaging effects coinciding with the changing environment. Her attendance at yesterday's environmental awareness event adds to her growing list of causes she's taken action to support recently. She and Ben Affleck cochaired the 10th annual Stuart House Benefit, and they're also raising money for A-T Children's Project, but despite the busy schedule, Jennifer made time to take Serapina to breakfast at their favorite spot this week.
Ryan Kwanten suited up for a day's work on the set of True Blood yesterday in LA. The handsome Aussie alternated between a muscle-baring tank and a police officer uniform while shooting scenes for the HBO hit. Ryan was joined by True Blood's newest villain, Rutger Hauer, who will play Macklyn — a man curiously linked to Sookie and Ryan's character, Jason Stackhouse.
True Blood's season five finale left a surprisingly high body count for fans of the vampire drama to tally and a cliffhanger to keep them stewing since August. The wait is nearing an end, as HBO announced the Summer series will return in June, with Ryan, Alexander Skarsgard, and new parents Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer reuniting for a sixth season.
Tom Hardy held onto to his four-legged costar yesterday on the set of his latest film, Animal Rescue. The handsome Brit bonded with a pit bull puppy while shooting the feature in Brooklyn, and both seemed to be enjoying the day's work. Tom showed off his softer side, holding his little buddy close and occasionally giving the puppy a kiss, while the canine star got plenty of attention and even had a stuffed stand-in to hold his place. Animal Rescue also stars actress Noomi Rapace, who will also star with Tom in Child 44. He paired up with another leading lady, Charlize Theron, last year though, for Mad Max: Fury Road and will next tackle the PTSD drama Samarkand.
