Today is American Beer Day, and while American beer often gets a bad rap, there are definitely a lot of fantastic small breweries. To celebrate the day I thought it would be fun to see if you can identify which of these breweries are American and which are not. Ready to give it a try? Source

Name That Dish!

Healthy Side: Butternut and Barley Pilaf
I don't really eat very much candy. I have the occasional chocolate here and there but on a daily basis, I try and steer clear from munching on lots of sweets. Halloween, however, is when I eat candy. To compensate for my indulgence I'll be consuming a lot of healthy foods like this butternut and barley pilaf.
This side gets its delicious flavor from chunks of melt in your mouth squash and fresh, zesty gremolata. It pairs nicely with a light chicken or pork. For a vegetarian meal serve with a crunchy spinach salad. Get the recipe to this scrumptious side when you read more
Snap in to a Lemon-Basil Snap
It's a little late in the season for basil — although I've still seen thriving bunches in the store — but when I saw this recipe for Lemon-Basil Snaps, I knew I had to share it with you. From the look of things, it seems to be a cross between a cookie and a savory biscuit. Call me crazy, but I think this is exactly the sort of recipe that would be worth giving around the holidays. Can you imagine the reaction you'll receive — assuming you can get your hands on some fresh basil — when you present someone with a basil cookie? Spider Beverage Tub: Love It or Hate It?

I despise spiders. I find them disgustingly gross looking and they scare me. However, I think this spider beverage tub is spooktacular. It's stylish, sleek, and festive. It can sit on a table, banquet, or even the floor. It holds beer, wine, soda, or water. It's usable around Halloween, which makes me hate it a little. But it will make a lovely addition to my collection of Halloween decorations and I'll use it for many years to come. What do you think?
