
When I first saw this S-XL baking pan, I thought it was pretty cool. It's a silicone mold that pre shapes any cake into fifteen separate, different sized slices. It allows one person to have a small piece and another to have a large piece. Yet, the more I thought about it, the more I disliked it. It won't really work for any cake; what happens to the indentations when you frost it? Actually, with the uneven layers, can you even frost it? What do you think?

Carrots are one of those veggies that I don't often cook with. Sure I throw them in a salad, but when I think of making a delicious side dish to pair with an extraordinary roast, carrots don't always come to mind. That is, until now!
