Last week, FabSugar and I went to an Elle party at the new Rugby by Ralph Lauren store. The place was packed and the music was bumping, but most importantly the cocktails were flowing freely. Besides your standard white wine by the glass, pitchers of a cool green cocktail were being poured. Served in a stemless martini glass, these cucumber cocktails went down like water. The green color is festive and fun for a Christmas or St. Patrick's Day party. It's easy to mix a big pitcher of these babies, making them perfect for a large event. Help Decide the Next Kettle Chip Flavor
Kettle Chips are my absolute favorite brand of potato chips. I love the delicious mix of seasoning with crisp crunch. On Monday I received a festive box announcing their annual search for the next great flavor. This year the focus is on "Fire and Spice." The hunt is for the best tasting hot potato chip. The flavors are inventive and exotic with intriguing pairings like Orange Wasabi Ginger and Mango Chili.
For a limited time, you too can help decide the next great flavor by ordering a party pack. Only one of the flavors will make it to a grocery store shelf near you.
The party pack is the perfect addition to a football watching event. Fill five bowls with each of the different flavors and have guests choose their favorite. Wash the spicy chips down with cold beers and send your votes in to Kettle. Stay tuned, the winning flavor will be announced on January 14, 2008.
DIY: Glitter Falling Leaves
Last year, as part of my Thanksgiving table setting, I created a hanging decoration of glittery falling leaves. The leaves hung from the chandelier above the dining table.
It made for a rustic, yet glamorous, addition to the look of my Thanksgiving table. To see how I made this simple yet stunning decoration, read more
Celebrate the Holidays with Pomegranate 7UP
If you're a fan of pomegranate flavored drinks — which is apparently one of the fastest growing beverage flavors — then you're going to want to get your hands on the latest 7UP flavor. To celebrate the upcoming holiday season, the folks at 7UP have created a new limited edition pomegranate flavor, which is a mixture of pomegranate flavor and the normal lemon-lime flavor. It is 100% natural flavors and, just like regular 7UP, is completely caffeine free. The limited edition flavor will only be availble until Jan. 31, 2008.
I'll give it a try, but as much as I love pomegranate, am I the only one who's a little tired of this trend?
Fast & Easy Dinner: Penne with Roasted Chicken & Radicchio
Although I enjoy eating radicchio, I rarely cook it at home. However, I've decided to change that by incorporating it into my everyday meal plans. With its gorgeous red pink color, radicchio has a bitter taste that softens when cooked. For tonight's dinner, the radicchio is paired with whole wheat pasta, parmesan cheese, and a store bought roast chicken. It's a delicious, quick meal that will introduce your family to a new flavor. It's Friday, so why not pair it with a glass of red wine? Sound scrumptious? Wait till you see the recipe, read more

Would You Use Batter Blaster?
I just recently came across a "fantastic" new product called Batter Blaster. Instead of whipping up your own pancake batter, or even using the just add water kind, you just shake, point, blast and cook. I don't know about you guys, but I think this is a bit ridiculous. It's like squeeze cheese, but with pancakes. What do you think, would you use it?
