I see I'm not the only who is crazy about wine. When I was browsing the Yum Market, I saw that you love wine and all of the goodies that go with it, so I've decided to compile a few together for you to look at. Wine racks, wine carrying cases, wine coolers - I hvnly34 even found wine flavored sorbet (has anyone tried it???)! However the most important wine accessory is the wine glass of course. I love the sleek functionality of this glass that mellie_608 bookmarked. The double walled glass protects the temperature of the wine making it last colder longer, perfect for those long, warm summer nights!

San Francisco's New Candy Store
June is almost over, but I couldn't let National Candy Month pass by without telling you guys about one of my favorite new places. In the Russian Hill district of San Francisco, Diane Campbell and her hubby Brian have opened a new shop simply called, "The Candy Store." Based on the name you'd assume that the store sells candy - which it does - but it's not like the kind of Sweet World type stores you see in the mall. If that's what you're envisioning, just stop right there: This place is better than that. It's a bright white space sprinkled with walls of clear candy jars, mountains of delicious chocolates, bins of crystal fruit slices and more.
Although it was a dreary gray day when I visited, the inside of The Candy Store was as bright and beautiful as a lovely spring morning - a lovely spring morning in candyland! To find out more about The Candy Store, including lots of pictures, read more
ShotPak Offers Energetic (and Alcoholic) Shots To Go
If you've ever wished you could take alcoholic shots with you, then I've got ridiculous great news for you. ShotPak has "revolutionized" the single serve ready-to-drink alcohol market by offering 50ml cocktail or "STR8UP" shots in lightweight durable pouches. Why would you bring a pouch with you? Why not just bring a flask or the whole bottle? Well, according to ShotPak, their pouches are "safer and more convenient than glass" making them "perfect for tailgating, concerts, sporting events, vacations, frequent flyers, cruise ships" and more... Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.
However, if it is your thing, you may be interested to know that they're introducing the "first ever" vodka energy drink - so now you can have your super-charged vodka anywhere you go.

Happy Hour: Cucumber Cocktails
If you are in need of a refreshing, summer cooler for your next barbecue, think about a cucumber cocktail. Light, tasty, and unexpectedly delicious, this recipe is similar to that of a mojito. I first came across it when I was a bartendress — I thought cucumbers were for salads not drinks. I was in for a surprise because the cocktail worked perfectly with a delicate fresh balance of tart and cool. Sip these while relaxing on your deck, front porch, or patio. Please give this drink a try; you won't be disappointed. To get the recipe, just read more!
Curry Simple Lets You Make Curry In a Hurry
A few weeks ago the folks at Curry Simple sent us a care package containing several of their curry sauces. At first glance, I was a bit skeptical. Unlike most food packaging, there are no luscious shiny food photographs staring back at you; instead it's simply packaged in all white with plain writing. In fact, they actually reminded me of rations, or sample packaging. However, because I love Thai food, I decided to put my judgmental notions aside and give it a try. I'm really glad I did, because it made dinner a snap. Thai food at home in less than 30 minutes without complicated ingredients?! To find out how it is, read more

Fast & Easy Dinner: Flank Steak Salad with Pineapple Salsa

In winter I'm all about steak and potatoes, but in summer I prefer steak that is lighter, quicker, and more bikini friendly. Steak and salad is a great option, but an even better one is steak salad. With the steak rapidly pan seared, this delicious dinner salad is ready in under twenty minutes. A simple, fresh pineapple salsa adds a sweet tangy flavor and tropical feel to the dish. Open a bottle of wine and set the outdoor table because the weekend is finally here. For this tasty and uncomplicated recipe all you have to do is read more
Summer of Sandwiches: Classic Choco-Vanilla
Last week YumSugar kicked off our new summer series - 14 weeks of ice cream sandwiches - with a delicious mint ice cream and cone cookie sandwich. For my first sandwich I thought it would be nice to begin with the classic chocolate cookie/vanilla ice cream combo. These little gourmet sandwiches - they're gourmet because they are homemade and much more sophisticated than their convenience store cousin - are super easy to make and involve NO gadgets! No Kitchenaid, ice cream maker, or hand mixer is necessary, so what are you waiting for?? Get the recipe now, enjoy this taste treat, just read more
Come Party With Me: 4th Of July - The Look & Music
The 4th of July is probably the easiest holiday party to decorate. The requisite red, white, and blue, stars, stripes, and American flags do all of the work for you. Every store in the nation is flooded with red serving platters, blue and white star tablecloths, American flag this and American flag that so weed through the options and find stuff that fits your need and goes along with your style. I'm not too into the patriotic look, so I'll only have the American flag on teeny toothpicks. White paper lanterns add soft lighting and beer will be placed in lots of little red buckets. The tablecloth is red and the tableware navy. Wrap red, white, and blue ribbon around your poles, banisters, and deck. Create floral arrangements with blue glass vases and red, white, and blue flowers. Decorate the space with red hurricane holders and fill with white pillar candles.
For music compile a list of songs related to America or the 4th of July. I'll be playing BuzzSugar's 50 Songs for 50 States playlist.
