Song of the Day: Feist, "Brandy Alexander"
Today is National Brandy Alexander Day and I haven't been able to get the chorus of the Feist song of the same name out of my head. In case you've also been afflicted with this problem today, I decided to dig up a version of "Brandy Alexander." Feist hasn't made an official video of the song, but luckily, YouTube had several clips of her performing it live.

Last week, Hershey's succumbed to the rising prices of dairy and wheat products by hiking up its chocolate prices. This week Kraft Foods and Kellogg will be doing the same. This means you should be seeing an increase in your Rice Krispies, Eggos, Kraft Singles, Mac 'n' Cheese, DiGiorno pizzas, and many other products from these companies.
This is bad news for our slowing economy, and is actually the largest jump in food prices since 1990. Have any of you seen signs of rising prices in your markets? Do you think the price hike will affect the way you eat?

Starbucks Says No to Breakfast and Cannibalization
Starbucks has been taking baby steps towards improving its business model and image, as proven with their recent $1 short brew testing and their latest announcement that they're getting rid of hot breakfast sandwiches.
Technically chili isn't a soup, but since it's almost Super Bowl Sunday, and chili is a one-pot meal made in a similar process as soup, I had to feature it. My dad discovered this recipe and has been raving about it for a couple of weeks now. Currently it's our favorite chili because its both sweet and spicy at the same time.

The other day, a delicious photo of a cheeseburger circled around the internet. Only the weird thing is, it was a Cheeseburger in a Can ($5.80). Something tells me it won't look so tasty once you open up the can. So tell me, would you try this canned cheeseburger?
