While there's nothing tastier than a big schmear of cream cheese on a freshly toasted bagel, this tasty spread can multitask in some amazing ways. Whether you're going for something savory or sweet, cream cheese can add a layer of delicious decadence that won't go unnoticed by the people who love to chow down on your food. Ready to get inspired? Here are five creative ways to make the most of the cute cream cheese tub in your fridge.

300+ days out of the year my morning starts with an oversized mug of chai tea (unsweetened, I'm weird), and a piping hot bowl of oatmeal lavished with fruit and nuts. The other days? Most involve a leisurely sojourn to my favorite dim sum eatery where deep-fried chicken wings, taro cakes, and dumplings dance before my eyes and into my stomach. But every once in a while I'm faced with a conundrum: time is in short supply (so dim sum is out) but I want to break from routine. On those occasions I start my day the British way: with a mug of milky Earl Grey and a hearty slice of toast slathered with butter or homemade marmalade (here I went for half and half). It certainly makes early mornings worlds more bearable!

Now that I've shared my breakfast du jour with you, I'd love to see something memorable you've devoured.
