I was delighted when the creator of Lotus, a new local vodka brand, offered to give us a private tasting. With its sleek, stark bottle and karma-friendly name, this vodka is smooth with no harsh bite. However it wasn't the elegant, subtle finish or its metallic, chic bottle that got me excited.
