To celebrate her new apartment, Fab and I are hosting a Sex and the City marathon. The entire menu is inspired by scenes from the show. Carrie and the gals are often seen enjoying cupcakes, so we'll serve mini ones. The cupcakes will be chocolate since Miranda ate chocolate cake from her garbage can.

When I moved out of my parents' house, one of the kitchen gadgets I missed the most was their salad spinner. I put salad spinner on the top of my to-buy list, but I never got around to finally purchasing one. I can't stand to live one more minute of my life without a salad spinner! Let's head off to market in search of superb salad spinners. Look for efficient spinners that are easy to clean. Avoid spinners that are too bulky for a small kitchen. Once found, save the spinners in the Yum Market on TeamSugar with the keyword tag, Salad Spinner. Good luck!

Last Friday I grabbed my camera and headed down to the Google campus — home to more than 4000 Google employees — in Mountain View. Before chatting with chef Eric Dela Cruz, my Google girlfriend and I took a whirlwind tour of 7 of the 17 cafés during their two hour lunchtime. From whole roasted fish to Spanish tapas to fresh wheatgrass, the Google cafés have something to offer everyone. To check out what happened when I went inside Google, click on the "Start" button.
I tried to get a free Jamba Juice yesterday, but when I got there, the line was ridiculously long. At that point I decided that the free $4 drink wasn't worth the wait and went back to my desk. A lot of the folks at the Sugar HQ were also complaining about how long the line was, however I know several people who did end up waiting in line. This all got me wondering, have you ever waited in line for free food?
Paella — Spain's most well known rice dish — is not necessarily a great option for a quick and simple dinner. However, using couscous instead of rice cuts the cook time in half without reducing the flavor or integrity of the dish. There is a lot of chopping and sautéing in the traditional version, but this couscous variation comes together rapidly with minimal chopping. Smoky kielbasa provides heat, and cherry tomatoes add freshness.
Guess which celebrity chef was hanging out with their spouse at the 5th Annual Can-Do Awards? You can name either the spouse or the chef.
And I'll give you a hint, it wasn't Mario Batali, although he was there hanging out with Petra Nemcova and Gwyneth Paltrow.
