On Golden Globes night, the evening didn't end when the awards were given out. Au contraire, many of our favorite celebs got dolled up to paint the town red at the various Hollywood afterparties. Evan Rachel Wood struck a chord earlier in the evening with an emerald Old Hollywood-style Gucci Premiere gown, but for the afterparty scene, the Ides of March actress went for menswear-inspired perfection. Evan Rachel wore a black tuxedo jacket paired with slim black pants; underneath, she opted for a shimmery bronzed asymmetrical top. Her gold boxy clutch, gold rings, grayish purple-tinted nails, and black peep-toe pumps rounded out her sleek look. What do you think?

At last night's Fendi party in Paris, there was enough fashion to create a runway show just from the clothes off people's backs. We took our top four looks — model Anouck Lepere in all white, Alexa Chung in a safety-pin mini, model Isabeli Fontana in red, and Jessica Stam in nude — and ask you, which gal is most fab?
Last night was Hollywood's biggest party night of the year, the main event being the Academy Awards. However, there was plenty of celebrating happening outside the show. The Elton John bash, officially known as the 19th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Award Viewing Party, was one of the most stylish parties of the evening. Heidi Klum showed some seriously excellent legs in a thigh-high gown, and there was a white party between Claire Danes, Paz Vega, and Nicole Richie. Serena Williams and Kim Kardashian showed up in chic black, and there was the stuff of rock star legend with appearances from Prince and Steven Tyler. These days a wedding celebration doesn't have to end with the last dance or bouquet toss. Hosting a post-reception bash is an emerging trend in wedding planning. Usually these fetes happen after the majority of the guests have left and a younger, more enthusiastic crowd remains.
The afterparty gives the bride and groom more time with their close friends and the chance to let loose. Unlike the ceremony and reception —which may follow family traditions, cultural customs, or a certain etiquette — the afterparty can be exactly how the couple wants it to be. It's a newer trend so there is no norm to adhere to.
Do keep in theme with your wedding and have the bash at a nearby bar, an adjoining rented room, or hotel suite. Play fun music for late night dancing, and offer guests refreshing cocktails and tasty snacks.
