This week's bento box comes from blogger Akinoichigo. Her adorable Miss Bunny — from Bambi — bento has me in awe. I guess you could say I'm "twitterpated!"

Bento of the Week: My Oh My Melody

Definition: Bento
Bento
A single portion boxed lunch or meal common in Japanese cuisine. A traditional bento consists of rice, fish/meat and vegetables on the side. The containers are usually compartmentalized, but not always.
It is even thought of as an art form and a skill. The food is often arranged to resemble other objects, such as flowers, leaves, cartoon characters etc.
For examples, be sure to check out our Bento of the Week posts.
Bento of the Week: Anyone For Starbucks?
Introducing our new feature, bento of the week! Our first find comes from Flickr member Sakurako Kitsa. This bento is absolutely adorable, but be sure to check out her other dazzling creations too. This time her inspiration has come from a Starbucks Green Tea Frappuccino. Love it!

There's Something About Bento

You're watering at the mouth, aren't you? Or maybe more sick to your stomach. I'm not sure these distasteful tactics are the best way to market a menu. I do know that if the lunch in front of me started gyrating--I'd lose it. Fast.
