During the first 2 nights of the 8 day celebration, the religious Seder dinner is typically practiced by the Jews to commemorate the Israelites escape from Egypt. Usually the dinner begins with a telling of this story, a reading from the Haggadah that is long and allows the guests to build up an appetite for the main course.
