Is there anything better to pair with food and wine than some beautiful May weather?

Is there anything better to pair with food and wine than some beautiful May weather? We think not. And this week, there are wonderful wine events, from a Champagne flight in Atlanta to New York City's very own Toast of the Town. If it's savory bites you're on the hunt for, stop by the Orange County Greek Festival in Anaheim, or get your fill of the grill at the Great Texas Sausage Fest.

As for us, we'll be sipping artisanal concoctions by the city's best bar chefs on Wednesday, and enjoying the view of the San Francisco Bay along with our wine at Uncorked! in Ghirardelli Square on Saturday. Where will you be? Chime in below and let us know!

In case the Spring blooms aren't enough to lure you outside, this week's diverse food and drink events will surely entice.

In case the Spring blooms aren't enough to lure you outside, this week's diverse food and drink events will surely entice. Seattleites should head to Pike Place Market to cure a craving for triple creme, New Yorkers can get a fun education in South African viticulture, and New Orleanians will be celebrating the art of the cocktail during World Cocktail Week.

As for us, we'll once again be returning to the SF Oyster Fest to savor fresh oysters, live music, and the beautiful view of the Bay. Where will you be? Let us know below!

Even if you haven't started entertaining outdoors yet, there are plenty of alfresco food and wine events for you to attend.

Even if you haven't started entertaining outdoors yet, there are plenty of alfresco food and wine events for you to attend. Judging by Owensboro, KY's International Bar-B-Q Festival and Southpark, NC's Beer, Bourbon, & BBQ, grilling season has already begun.

This week, we're excited to head over to San Francisco's picturesque Marina to attend a cocktail crawl hosted by some of the city's top mixologists.

Where will you be this week? We want to hear about your plans in the comments below.

Whether you're near the rolling hills of Paso Robles, CA, or the sticky swamplands of Florida's Gator Country, there's something for you to do (and eat) this week.

Whether you're near the rolling hills of Paso Robles, CA, or the sticky swamplands of Florida's Gator Country, there's something for you to do (and eat) this week. Make the most of syrup season at the Vermont Maple Festival or rub elbows with Bobby, Mario, and Paula during their demos at the Metropolitan Cooking Show. On Thursday, we'll be eating and drinking our fill, guilt-free, at San Francisco's very own Taste of the Nation, where all ticket sales go to benefit Share Our Strength.

Where will you find yourself partying it up this week? Let us know in the comments!

As the days grow longer, the food and wine agenda just gets larger. Keep your calendar full with unique regional celebrations of everything from butter and eggs to pickles and Vidalia onions.

We'll be savoring top tastes once again at Toast of the Town, getting our Blue Ribbon Cookbook signed at a Bromberg brothers demo, and enjoying a postparade 'cue after the Butter & Egg Days parade.

Where are you hankering to go this week? Let us know in the comments below!

The food festival circuit is really ramping up this time of year.

The food festival circuit is really ramping up this time of year. If you're in Texas, hit up some exciting food and drink events before the heat starts to become debilitating. There's the Houston Press Menu of Menus Extravaganza in Bayou City, the Wine & Dine in Dallas, and the return of Austin's Texas Hill Country Wine & Food Festival.

Here in the City by the Bay, perhaps I could squeeze in some time to see Ruth Reichl, in town to talk about her latest book. Where will you be? Let us know in the comments.

As the weather begins to take on a warmer outlook, celebrations of food and drink finally come out of hibernation.

As the weather begins to take on a warmer outlook, celebrations of food and drink finally come out of hibernation. From the Beer, Bourbon, & BBQ festival a stone's throw from Baltimore to strawberry celebrations in Texas and Louisiana, there's plenty of Spring festival spirit.

Personally, I'm dreaming of sipping Gruner, playing golf, and rubbing elbows with the likes of Eric Ripert at this year's Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival, but I'll settle for swirling wine and shopping bottles at the SF Vintners Market! Where will your travels take you? Let us know below.

Since Passover commenced last night and Easter is this Sunday, it's a slow week for food events.

Since Passover commenced last night and Easter is this Sunday, it's a slow week for food events. But any Angelenos who couldn't bear the line at the Street Food Fest last month can hit up Street Feast to sample fried chicken, grilled cheese, and kimchi fries. Tonight, we'll be checking out the flavors of local wineries from San Francisco and Oakland at Nirvino's Urban Wineries Tasting. If you're there, drop a line and say hi!

What are you up to this week? Let us know where you'll be eating and drinking in the comments below.

There are tons of food events to warm up to as the temperatures rise this week, including a wine weekend in the rustic California town of Lodi and seafood attractions, like Chalmette's Louisiana Crawfish Festival.

We'd love to sample Plum Street Snoballs and Shrimp Uggies at the New Orleans Road Food Festival — but alas, we'll be filling up at the Artisan Cheese Festival in nearby Petaluma. Where will your hunger for good food take you this week? Let us know by chiming in below.
