Whenever I decide to host a party the first thing I do is look for inspiration. It can be found anywhere, but I always enjoy checking out pictures of other people's parties for ideas. I love looking at party pics so much I have created a group — Super Special Occasions — on TeamSugar where you can share all of your party pics with me.

I enjoy reading about parties and I love looking at party pics! I love it so much that I have created a group — Super Special Occasions — on TeamSugar where you can share all of your party pics with me. I plan on posting all of the pics from my upcoming half birthday party, but until then check out the amazing garden-themed retirement/birthday party that cravinsugar hosted! Last week I invited you to share your party pics in my Super Special Occasions group on TeamSugar. We can all get inspiration from the parties we've attended. Reader redhot recently hosted a baby shower.

She had the creative idea to use a bed's canopy as party decor. How gorgeous does the pink gauze look over the pastel colored presents?! This idea could easily be adapted to lots of different parties. For a Halloween bash use a black gauze canopy. For Thanksgiving hang a gold colored canopy above a side table for an eye catching decoration.

Although I wasn't lucky enough to attend this Seder dinner that one of GeekSugar's friend's hosted on Monday night to celebrate Passover, I was ecstatic when she sent me the beautiful pictures. A little while ago as I was browsing through the groups on TeamSugar I was surprised to see that there was no group devoted to highlighting images of your fabulous parties. Sure there are groups that discuss wedding party plans, recipes, and wines but what about one devoted to all things party? That's why I started the Super Special Occasions group! When I host a party I love to take tons of pictures of everything from the decorations to the food spreads to the floral centerpieces and beautifully lit candles. Now we can share our pictures with each other and get inspirations and ideas from parties that you've hosted in the past.
