Cinco de Mayo is all about one thing: margaritas. (And tasty tacos, of course.) This Sunday, spruce up your 'rita routine with glasses that bring the color and flair the celebration deserves. Enjoy delicious margaritas poolside or inside — either way, the likes of confetti and cactus glasses will help you toast to the celebration and, most importantly, get your fiesta on. Bottoms up!
Cocktails: Can You Drink Your Fill?
Since we're tackling the essentials of home bartending this week, I thought I'd whet your appetite for a stiff drink by testing your cocktail know-how.
Here's how it's going to work: I'll name a bar beverage, and you'll match it to the right glassware. How well you do might have something to do with how many you've toasted with in your lifetime. Ready to raise a (proper) glass? Then let's get started.

Do You Know Your Party Glasses?
I have a confession to make: with Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, holiday parties, Christmas, and New Year's all occurring over a span of six weeks, I've been doing a lot of drinking. After all, who can say no to a toast?
Imbibing everything from cidercars to citrus sparklers has reminded me how many different types of drinking vessels have a place at the bar. Do you know your collins from your highball? Take our quiz and see how well you do.
Take the QuizEtsy Finds: Cool Retro Barware for Your Mad Man
It's no secret that Mad Men has every man and wife (and mistress) wanting a retro bar set and cart for their home — or, let's be honest, office. Even if your man (or bro) is the beer-slugging kind, there's something so sharp and dapper about all the essentials to make a proper drink that I think he'll appreciate the thought. Check out this slideshow to learn how to raise the bar.

Registry Roundup: Raise a Toast!
While you may have the patterns and theme picked out for all of the dinnerware on your registry, have you thought about your drinkware needs? If you're big wine enthusiasts, you'll definitely want to add a full collection of glasses and wine accessories. If you and your sweetie prefer spirits over wine, then make sure you add a full range of drink glasses as well as all the essential bar extras. Likewise, if you're teetotalers, don't bother with all the drink glasses you won't use. Instead, concentrate on essential everyday glasses, a set of wine glasses — they'll double as water glasses — and mugs and teacups.

Love It or Hate It? Recycled Rubber Coasters
When I lived on the East Coast, I always felt like "West Coasters" were the people who felt obliged to let their coastal origins be known. But, I suppose that's not entirely true; these Recycled Rubber Coasters ($38) were made in Maine. I still don't support this East/West superiority complex that some people have. But you know I always love a good pun, so these coasters get by in my book. What do you think?

Nice and New: Barbara Barry Barware and Plates

Off To Market: Shot Glasses
I'm going to visit some friends in Spain next week and naturally I want to bring a few fun gifts with me. My best Spanish friend, Antonio, is a mixologist and excellent bartender. His forte is specialty chupitos (shots) and it would be cool if I brought him a new set of shot glasses. Can you help me find some fabulous shot glasses for Antonio? Look for practical, but cool, fun glasses. Antonio is also the lead singer of a band, so rocker chic is very fabulous. Bookmark the shot glasses in the Yum Market on TeamSugar with the keyword tag Shot Glasses. Good luck in your searching, I can't wait to see what you find!
