Guy Fieri Nation Expands to Include Barbecue Sauces and Salsa

With a gaggle of TV shows, books, restaurants, and endorsements under his belt, it's hard to imagine what else could be on the horizon for Guy Fieri.

Guy Fieri Salsas and Barbecue SaucesWith a gaggle of TV shows, books, restaurants, and endorsements under his belt, it's hard to imagine what else could be on the horizon for Guy Fieri. But at this week's Winter Fancy Foods Show, we managed to find out. The man himself was there to launch his first-ever line of supermarket condiments. While we didn't spot him in person, we did get to check out his barbecue sauces and salsas.

Fieri's salsas come in four flavors (Original Salsa, Salsa Verde, Chipotle Salsa, and 4 Pepper), as do his sauces, which are available in Kansas City, Bourbon Brown Sugar, Pacific Rim, and Carolina #6. We enjoyed the original and salsa verde salsas and the classic Kansas City barbecue sauce.

Whether we like it or not, it's only a matter of time before Guy's shaded, sun-bleached visage takes over the country, one mass-produced bottle at a time.

Berry Tempting: Chicken Smothered in Raspberry BBQ Sauce

I have already declared my love for pork and berry recipes, and now I have to add chicken smothered in raspberry BBQ sauce to the top of my berry tempting list.

I have already declared my love for pork and berry recipes, and now I have to add chicken smothered in raspberry BBQ sauce to the top of my berry tempting list. Initially, I thought my recipe experiment had failed, since vinegar and lime juice made the simmered sauce a touch too tangy. Rather than add more to it, I left it overnight in the fridge, and thankfully the sweetness from the berries finally came through. Coating each side of the chicken with sauce as it cooked did get my grill a little messy, but the sugar from the raspberries and onions caramelized for an even more delectable and crispy skin. Reader Review: Sticky Fingers BBQ Sauce

I was checking out the always inspiring Kitchen Goddess group when I came across a post from TeamSugar member JennyJen.

I was checking out the always inspiring Kitchen Goddess group when I came across a post from TeamSugar member JennyJen. In it she reviews a BBQ sauce she had never noticed before. Mostly, she fell victim to cute packaging — haven't we all? — and decided to give it a try.

She says that the sauce, which is actually from the infamous Sticky Fingers chain of restaurants, is amazing and that she wasn't sure how she restrained herself "from chugging the entire bottle of delicious goodness!"

Now that grilling season has started, I think I'm going to have to hunt down a bottle. How about you? Have you ever tried it, and if so, do you agree with JennyJen?

Which BBQ Sauce Would You Choose?

A few weeks ago, my sister and I found ourselves at a Buffalo Wild Wings — how had I never heard of this chain before? — contemplating their multitude of bbq sauces. They have 14 different kinds to choose from and eventually we settled on Mango Habanero (which was absolutely delicious) and Spicy Garlic. Which flavor would you have chosen?

Note: They're listed from least spicy to most.
