Behind the Scenes With Karlie Kloss on the Set of the Target-Neiman Marcus Campaign

Back in July, when Target and Neiman Marcus announced that Karlie Kloss, Craig McDean, and Quentin Jones were joining forces for the brands' CFDA collaboration campaign, we knew that we would all be in for a real treat. Now that the first glimpse of that campaign is finally out, it's pretty safe to say that we were right. In the just-released behind-the-scenes video, Karlie Kloss frolics on set with Quentin Jones's black-and-white photo cutouts, resulting in a collage of images that promises to look mod and modern — all at the same time."Karlie Kloss is, of course, stunningly beautiful, but I knew that we could get a performance out of her that would really bring this campaign to life," Robin Derrick, executive creative director of Spring Studios, explained. For her part, Kloss seemed quite happy to be involved as well: "You know, it's exciting to be part of such a cool collaboration."

One of Gisele Bundchen's first activities as the face of David Yurman was to hang out on a beach in Malibu while Peter Lindbergh photographed her wearing Yurman's creations.

The resulting images will be used for the brand's Fall 2012 campaign, which draws on the inviting simplicity of California beaches for inspiration. Watch Bundchen pose on the beach in the video below, then take a sneak peek at the ads in the gallery.

Breast Cancer

Viral on Facebook: I Like It on the Couch, I Like It on the Desk

I like it next to my kitchen stove.

I like it next to my kitchen stove. There's something about the smell of cooking that . . . nope, it's not what you think. I, like many others, was actually referring to my purse. Yesterday, my friend Amy posted an "I like it on top of my law books" Facebook status update, which totally took me by surprise. I was seeing her in a whole new light until I saw a couple of other people posting "I like it on . . . " updates. Turns out, it's actually a Facebook campaign that was started for the purpose of promoting breast cancer awareness. You might be familiar with the last viral breast cancer awareness meme which had plenty of women posting about the color of their bra. What about you — where do you like to leave your purse?

Let's Dish: How Did You Ring in Election Night?

Regardless of who you voted for, last night was a monumental night in American history.

Regardless of who you voted for, last night was a monumental night in American history. I wasn't feeling so well, so I watched history unfold at home with a beer, although in any other capacity I would've attended PartySugar and LibertySugar's election night bash.

How did you ring in the election? Did you tune in at a sports bar, or throw your own party? What was your election night drink of choice?

Would You Eat This Palin Sandwich?

Last week I couldn't stop gushing about Ike's Place, my new favorite sandwich joint in town.

Last week I couldn't stop gushing about Ike's Place, my new favorite sandwich joint in town. Well, this weekend, I made a return trip there and tried one of their new offerings, an election-minded sandwich called The Palin.

Generously sized for its $8.98 price tag, The Palin was jam-packed with shredded chicken breast, deep-fried mozzarella sticks, blue cheese, and Frank's Red Hot Sauce. While I wished there had been a little less hot sauce, I thought the result was one heavenly mess.

Palin Pig Sandwich: Love It or Hate It?

In case you haven't gotten enough of Barack Obama's "lipstick on a pig" comment, restaurant owners in Sarah Palin's home state of Alaska have decided to make a sandwich based on the statement.

In case you haven't gotten enough of Barack Obama's "lipstick on a pig" comment, restaurant owners in Sarah Palin's home state of Alaska have decided to make a sandwich based on the statement.

The McPalin Grilled Pig Sandwich is on the menu at Lion's Den in Anchorage, AK. Said owner Dale Keefe, "I kept thinking about that news story when I was making sandwiches and I just kind of had an epiphany."

The $13 sandwich, which has been selling out at the restaurant, consists of pork tenderloin, caramelized apples, red onions, melted cheddar cheese, and crisp bacon. It comes with an unusual side of fries and lipstick.
