The family is in Curtis's native Australia, where he's promoting sustainable seafood and chatted about the benefits of fish on the Today show Sydney and The Morning Show. Former Lipstick Jungle star Lindsay and her Australian chef boyfriend Curtis announced the happy news recently after meeting in 2009. Lindsay, whose tiny baby bump was visible beneath her striped top, looked happy checking in for the flight and going through security next to attentive Curtis. From Top Chef Masters to opening his first US restaurant, Curtis Stone and I had no shortage of items to discuss in our recent interview.

From Top Chef Masters to opening his first US restaurant, Curtis Stone and I had no shortage of items to discuss in our recent interview.

But I also managed to squeeze in a few questions from YumSugar readers, who chimed in over Twitter and Facebook with questions for the chef about his day-to-day cooking conventions, and what he puts together for a quick and dirty meal.

The chef and new face of Great Grains admits he maintains a rather healthy lifestyle (after all, it's hard work being easy on the eyes!). He shared four steps to eating better at home; see them when you keep on reading.

Curtis Stone on His New LA Eatery and Responding to the Haters

If you watch any amount of food television, there's a good chance you've heard of Curtis Stone.

If you watch any amount of food television, there's a good chance you've heard of Curtis Stone. From Take Home Chef to The Biggest Loser, there's nowhere this attractive Aussie hasn't been. Currently, he's busy being host of Top Chef Masters and a judge on America's Next Great Restaurant. We took time to get to know the chef, who's busy as the new face of Great Grains.

Over the phone, Stone — who revealed he's opening a new restaurant in Los Angeles, and talked about the highs and lows of filming — was surprisingly grounded and impressively well-spoken. He also addressed naysayers' criticisms that he spends too much time on TV and not enough in the kitchen. Curious to see what he's got to say? Read more.

What Did You Think of Sunday's Food TV Lineup?

Last night saw the debut of two much-hyped-about food television shows: Bobby Flay's America's Next Great Restaurant on NBC and Chopped All-Stars on Food Network.

Last night saw the debut of two much-hyped-about food television shows: Bobby Flay's America's Next Great Restaurant on NBC and Chopped All-Stars on Food Network. I watched both and found them to be overall entertaining. At a time when the fast-food industry has been under scrutiny, it's interesting that mega chefs Flay and Curtis Stone are investing in a chain eatery.

Over on Chopped, it was fun to see the Next Food Network Star contestants again. I forgot how much I liked Lisa Garza, and despite the fact that she didn't complete the challenge, I was rooting for her to get past the first round. Did you watch either of the new shows? Share your thoughts below!

Top Chef Masters Season 3 Chefs

With only five competitors left on Top Chef All-Stars, it's only natural that Bravo get the public excited for what's to come next with the franchise: Top Chef Masters season three! This time Kelly Choi is out and she's been replaced by the hunky Australian chef Curtis Stone. Also gone from the judge's table? James Rayner and Gael Greene. They've been replaced by former Gourmet editor in chief Ruth Reichl; James Oseland is the only remaining judge from the previous two seasons. Although the cast of participants lacks some big names, I'm excited simply for the new lineup on the critics' panel. Here you'll learn which chefs will participate and find out a little more about them.
