You may know that the festival offers an exciting mix of celebrity chefs, culinary demos, and of course, wine and food — but there's plenty more that goes on behind the scenes. We thought it'd be fun to offer a glimpse of the event by the numbers. Let's begin with the biggest one: the festival will see 57,000 ticketed attendees over the course of this weekend. This weekend marks the anniversary of a special event, and we're not talking about the Oscars — we're headed to the 11th annual Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival! It's been only five days since the final event, but I'm already craving my return to next year's NYC Wine & Food Festival. Between stunning views, world-class restaurant chefs, and an always-colorful New York crowd, it's hard not to want to be back in the Big Apple.

San Francisco's biggest food event, SF Chefs, took place this past weekend, and it was larger than ever. When I entered the festival's third-annual Grand Tasting, there was a line around the block to see some of the country's brightest names in cooking, from Martin Yan to Hubert Keller. Check out the talent we bumped into — along with the best bites and sips we tasted.
We love to attend food events, and so does member senorita, who just attended her first crawfish boil.
I went to my first crawfish boil, lots of fun and tons of tasty food! I would still contend the crawfish were delicious plain, however, a baked potato and corn on the cob could have definitely used some butter. These delicious crustaceans are some work but well worth the effort.
