Tomorrow, Denny's rival IHOP will be giving out free short stacks of pancakes. In observance of the momentous occurrence known as National Pancake Day, the beacon of all things breakfast will be doling out three free buttermilk pancakes to dine-in guests who eat between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. tomorrow — no purchase necessary. In return, the breakfast house asks that you consider donating to its charity Children's Miracle Network, or any other local charitable organization. Are you marking your calendar?

Now that Jamba Juice's $1 oatmeal deal has ended, hungry diners will need to look elsewhere for breakfast on a budget. Thankfully, Denny's has stepped in with a promotion that's too good to pass up. Tomorrow, the casual dining chain will offer its Original Grand Slam for free from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. News of the free breakfast combo (two eggs, two sausages, two bacon strips, and two pancakes) debuted during a Super Bowl spot yesterday. Now that KFC's finally named a winner in its search for the right grilled chicken spokesperson, the chain is ready for yet another Kentucky Grilled Chicken giveaway. Declaring next Monday, Oct. 26 "UNFry Day," KFC will be handing out one free piece of grilled chicken to customers at more than 5,000 restaurants across the US.

The fast food company's last grilled chicken giveaway, which was backed by none other than Oprah Winfrey, caused quite a stir when KFC, faced with overwhelming demand, was forced to issue an apology and staggered rainchecks to customers who were turned away.

Yet another reason to love Labor Day? Free food. To commemorate its second annual Chick-fil-A Kickoff football game, which takes place Sept. 5, fast food chain Chick-fil-A is giving out free Original Chicken Sandwiches to any customer wearing sports-related apparel on Labor Day, Sept. 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The promo, which takes place at Chick-fil-A locations nationwide, states that acceptable sports clothing includes any article or accessory with a sports team logo. Not a sports fan? There's still a way for you to score: Go to this spinoff website and sign up to receive a coupon for a free sandwich. If you're one of the first 250,000, you'll also land a coupon for a free Coke Zero.

I no longer live near a Chick-fil-A, but if I were nearby, I'd definitely be in for one of the chain's signature crispy chicken sandwiches. What about you?

Taco Tuesday promos are, in my opinion, the best thing to ever happen to Tuesday, an otherwise uneventful day of the week. And for no apparent reason, fast-food chain Jack in the Box wants to get in on the action with its own version. If you were already contemplating the fast food chain's new Angus Third Pounder, here's another reason for you to drop in to McDonald's. The company wants you to try its new McCafé coffee drinks so badly that it's offering free McCafé Mocha samples in-store every Monday for the next four weeks.

Beginning July 13, the world's largest fast food chain will implement Mocha Mondays: between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., customers can order a seven-ounce iced mocha or an eight-ounce hot mocha for free. The promotion will take place at participating locations every Monday through Aug. 3.

According to corporate executives, this is one of the largest sampling initiatives the company has ever undertaken, and McDonald's anticipates giving away roughly 10 million McCafé Mochas during the promotion. Will you take advantage with a steaming hot mocha — or the cold version?
