I just discovered Etsy's new feature, Gift Ideas for Facebook Friends; have you tried it out yet? Just allow Etsy to access your Facebook, pick one of your friends, and the feature rounds up gift ideas based on everything from their favorite movie to their hometown, to their affinity for board games. I found some of the picks surprisingly accurate (love the Polaroid finds for myself!), but some didn't quite hit the mark, like a UCLA Bruins baby bib it recommended for my single (childless), 20-something girlfriend who "Liked" UCLA on Facebook. Even if some of the ideas weren't right for that particular friend, certain themes — especially for movies and TV shows — would be perfect for other friends and family on my holiday shopping list.
