A spoon rest is a handy kitchen tool that sits on stovetops. In between sautéing and stirring, it's a safe place to rest the spatula or spoon you're using. Sadly, I don't own one and the other day when I was making macaroni and cheese, I finally decided it's time to invest in this practical kitchen essential.

This Summer we've been celebrating in-season produce with a plethora of delicious salad recipes. Thus I thought it was high time we showcase a wide variety of salad accessories. From bowls to spinners to colanders to tongs to platters, a lot of kitchen tools are necessary to prepare and serve a scrumptious salad. Below you'll find a collection of my favorite salad accessories, but the item I'm most obsessed with is this urban picnic salad set. It's two bowls in one — a porcelain salad bowl inside a bamboo carrier — with a handle that doubles as serving utensils! One can make the salad in the kitchen and carry it to the table quickly and easily. How cool is that?

Technically she's a pescaterian, but I think she would benefit from a book that focuses on vegetarian cuisine. I love recipes and I enjoy following them precisely. Therefore, I use my measuring spoons and cups practically every time I cook. While I conveniently have two sets of measuring spoons, I only have one set of measuring cups. Since it's a hassle to constantly wash the cups, I simply want to get another set and I asked you to help me find it. You searched the Internet for stylish and compact measuring cups.
