I can never resist the delectable pair that is peanut butter and chocolate, and this weekend, to my delight, I came across the most perfect recipe for a layered peanut butter and chocolate pudding. I woke up early on Saturday and started on the pudding for a dinner party later that evening.

The puddings must be made separately but take no more than an hour to prepare. You can layer them before you place them in the fridge or just before serving. The result is a wonderfully creamy and smooth pudding. My guests enjoyed each scrumptious spoonful as much as I did. For those of you who have the same affinity for this duo, keep reading for the recipe.

This week, I'm helping my friends Alex and Ryan plan the ultimate Super Bowl party. While these bachelors aren't new to partying, they are novice hosts. They'll keep it casual and fun, but with the help of some easy homemade dishes, kick things up a notch.

It took some convincing, but they've agreed to give this peanut butter cup recipe a try. It's a super easy dessert that requires nothing more than a knife, cutting board, microwave, bowls, and spoon. They'll borrow my 12-cup mini-muffin pan. To check out the recipe — seriously it's virtually flawless —  read more

12 Days of Edible Gifts: Peanut Butter Cups

With the holidays upon us and gift giving soon here, it's the perfect time to make your own affordable and edible gifts.

With the holidays upon us and gift giving soon here, it's the perfect time to make your own affordable and edible gifts. Earlier this week, PartySugar featured her decadent chocolate truffles and to continue with the chocolate theme, I made homemade peanut butter cups. It only takes an afternoon to put together these delectable chocolate cups. Packaged in a small box or bag, they're a wonderful favor for any holiday guests.

The peanut butter base is simple, and the chocolate coating requires nothing more than a melted chocolate milk mixture. I made mine with more dark chocolate, but feel free to change the ratio depending on your tastes. Once you've enjoyed a homemade peanut butter cup, a Reese's will never compare! To celebrate your holidays with these chocolate peanut butter cups, keep reading.

Delilicious: Monster Candy Eyeballs

I know it is only a short while before my lil ones come home with bags of treats, so I wanted to try to make my own candy!

I know it is only a short while before my lil ones come home with bags of treats, so I wanted to try to make my own candy! Epicurious had a great recipe for a frightful version of buckeye candy; traditionally it is a peanut butter ball that is then coated in a thin layer of chocolate. With a little creative dunking and a bag of M&M's, these candies are transformed into a spooky, yet, scrumptious monster eyeball.

Kids can definitely help with the whole process because the recipe only requires a microwave. You might even be grateful as mixing the peanut butter and powdered sugar is best done by hand and can be a pretty messy job! The finished candies would be cute packaged in small gifts bags as a ghoulish treat for your kids' friends! Children of all ages (including adults) are bound to love this classic combination, so if you want to get started on your own eye-poppingly delicious candy for Halloween keep reading for my tips and recipe.

Take advantage of Fall's harvest and pick up some fresh apples for this healthy and delicious snack. The apples will not only satisfy your sweet tooth and your need to crunch, but they're also a great source of fiber. I used Pink Lady apples for this recipe, but you can use any variety you like. Munch on these stackers for breakfast or a light lunch, or cut the recipe in half if you just want to make a little snack.
