OnSugar blog Fresh Tart does it again with another amazing-looking recipe for a classic pudding with seasonal strawberries.

If the only vanilla pudding you've ever eaten is from a plastic Jello brand cup, then please make this. It takes about 15 minutes to pull together and will knock your socks off, gone.

You can eat the pudding warm right out of the pan (Stephanie style) or chill it for a bit to serve after dinner (the proper way).  Because strawberries are amazing right now, crush some with a little sugar (and a splash of booze?) and spoon them over the top. I don't know what it is about vanilla pudding + strawberries in particular, but for me, it is a holy grail combination that tastes of childhood, my grandmother's kitchen, and the world's most perfect strawberry ice cream.

Every year I make my uncle a new version of his favorite dessert, German Chocolate Cake. Last year, I opted for Hostess-inspired German chocolate cupcakes, but this week, I skipped the cake part all together and went with a pudding cup variation of this delicious dessert. The chocolate pudding is thick enough to hold up candles, so my uncle could still make his birthday wish. To ensure the German chocolate flavor combination, I used the essential Baker's chocolate in the pudding and made the coconut-pecan custard that would normally be layered in the cake. After a 10-year break, Kraft's Jell-O and Bill Cosby are back together. The legendary Cosby Show comedian, who appeared in Jell-O commercials for nearly 30 years, is once again partnering with the gelatin and pudding company in its newest marketing campaign.

Although his last stint with Jell-O was in front of the camera in 1999, this time, the actor will be behind the camera as executive producer of the brand's new multimillion-dollar "Hello Jell-O" campaign, which features an updated Jell-O logo with a smiling face.

In addition to the brand's ads, which will begin airing on Monday, Jell-O will also sponsor the comedian's new weekly web series, OBKB, which will consist of 10-minute episodes on Cosby's own Ustream channel.

To entertain my niece and nephew, we made a box of pudding since it is easy to have them help. Once the pudding was finished to surprise them I served it in an ice cream cone topped with sprinkles! They said they loved pudding in a cone even more than ice cream. I think it would be great dessert option for a nontraditional birthday party. I can never resist the delectable pair that is peanut butter and chocolate, and this weekend, to my delight, I came across the most perfect recipe for a layered peanut butter and chocolate pudding. I woke up early on Saturday and started on the pudding for a dinner party later that evening.

The puddings must be made separately but take no more than an hour to prepare. You can layer them before you place them in the fridge or just before serving. The result is a wonderfully creamy and smooth pudding. My guests enjoyed each scrumptious spoonful as much as I did.
