This was my first time making rhubarb pie, and it was so simple to make and delicious!
I made this for the first time tonight and it was really good.

So this one is for you, Sica. I had taken pictures of this recipe a few weeks ago and was planning on posting it someday.
This is a really simple salad and I came up with the recipe one day when I had to make a lunch for the hubby and didn't have much food in the fridge. You can really just throw in whatever you like or have in this salad.

I made this tonight and it was really good. You should all try it. I added some green onion, lemon zest, lemon juice and a lot of black pepper to my dressing.
I adapted this recipe from a Rachael Ray recipe. First of all, she calls it "stoup" which makes me want to punch someone. I slightly altered the ingredients and measurements but the big change is that I added chorizo to the soup.
You can make this as spicy as you wish by changing the amount of or omitting the hot sauce and jalapeno.
It is my mom's recipe. Teco loves it, and so do I.
I hope you like it!
Remarks:
*I like "Hellmann's" mayonnaise, but you can use any other brand or make your own mayonnaise.
*I prefer to use tuna in brine, but you can use tuna in oil.

This pasta toss comes together in a snap on busy weeknights. Complement it with a glass of white wine, such as sauvignon blanc, and garlic-Parmesan breadsticks.
I love anything with artichokes and this was no exception.

I had been meaning to try this salad for a very long time and finally made it last weekend. It was as good and summery as I expected it to be (I love Giada's recipes) and will definitely be making it again before the end of the summer. I halved the recipe since we were only and had it as a side dish with a chicken salad sandwich.
I made it for dinner last weekend, it's amazing!
Bolinho de chuva is traditional all over Brazil. It is served for breakfast or tea time. The recipe below is for the sweet version.
Our national holiday was to be the day of good food. At the end we had too much to take along to the picnic. So I had an idea for the next day.

These are SOOO good and you can vary them to your liking. They are a bit expensive to make but enjoy anyways. Sorry for the bad pic.
So this was a fun experience for me, I have never made tiramisu before, so there were a lot of things I learned this time around to re-do and not to repeat if I were to make this again. It's super easy as far as tiramisu recipes go, and as with anything The Pioneer Woman makes, I would highly recommend making it. Mine wasn't the most beautiful thing in the world, but it was delicious!
This tasty and interesting open faced sandwich is the perfect answer for a quick, late summer evening meal. Round out the meal by pairing it with a simple salad of arrugula, red onion slices, and feta dressed with a classic vinagrette.
Prep time 15-20 minutes
Cooking time: Less than 30 minutes
Serves 4
This recipe is easy to halve or double as needed.
It keeps well under refrigeration and can be heated for lunch the next day
I don't know why it's Low-Fat, but if the recipe says it is then It probably is. It is definitely moist though.
I've been so bored all day that I had to find something to do. I had some cream cheese and carrots in the fridge so the obvious thing to do was to make a carrot cake.

I came up with this salad this afternoon with what I had on hand and didn't expect to like it so much (that's why I don't have pictures of the first part of the recipe). I decided to share it with you.
This salad is so easy to make and you can pretty much add whatever you like to it. You can also use the sun-dried tomato dressing on a simple green salad with croûtons and Parmesan.
Tomorrow I am going to a "picnic" for the music ministry for my mother's church and every family is supposed to bring their own meals, so I decided to make a side that would go well with fried chicken and potato salad (I know it's a lot of carbs in that meal, but it's a picnic!!)
This recipe is absolutely delicious (I snuck a little bowl of it ), and I think it would go well with lots of other main courses as well.
My mom loves to prepare ice-cream We have received fresh apricots fm Valais - that is a very beautiful area in Switzerland (the Matterhorn "grows" there) Therefore she was keen in getting you all to know, how she prepared it. We have got an ice-cream machine that makes life easier...
Peter Piper picked a peck...
Okay. You don't need a peck of peppers to make this super-easy dish that will serve equally well as a main course or appetizer. Serve it hot or at room temp.
I found this recipe in Shape and was curious to see how Greek yogurt would fare in brownies.
