Sounds good to me! Now when people see what is actually in the food they are eating, they might make better choices.

I think this is a great idea. I joined weight watchers a month ago and have been "counting the points" for meals I used to regularly eat. I am shocked how bad some things that I thought were OK were. There are meals I used to eat that were a whole days worth of calories and fat. I am on the go two meals of my day and rely on restaurants and chains. I would love to know at a glance if what I think is a good choice actually is one.

I think it's great. It probably won't stop everyone from eating unhealthy, but if it helps one person make better choices then it will have been worth it in my opinion. Macgirl - I've been following Weight Watchers for a little over 2 years and I've lost 70lbs. I'm still shocked sometimes when I research point values. It's a true eye-opener and really puts things in perspective.

i think that it's a good idea to have this information posted but i have to say that i don't think that it's going to really make much of an impact in how people eat. i feel like most people go to chains and they aren't really looking for the nutritional information, but i know that for myself and diners like me, if we see that something has like 700 cals and it's nothing significant - then we certainly won't eat it. i was watching this short on the news and they were talking about how some menus that have 'low cal' options really aren't low cal at all - so i guess maybe it'll make some impact. i guess i'm on the fence about this one huh?

I think this is a great idea. Sometimes when I go out to eat I think that I might splurge on a dish because I don't eat out that often, but when I have the opportunity to see just how many calories it is that I'm consuming, I'm usually horrified and opt for something lighter.

I like that idea a lot. I've had times where I went out to eat and wanted to know the nutrition facts of the dish that I wanted.

I would like to know what I am eating. It won't deter me from buying something that I really like to eat unless I have to watch my diet for health reasons.

Love this! Great idea and will be shocking to a lot of people just how many calories and how much fat they are consuming.

Finally! California Pizza Kitchen is one of my favorite chains and I've been dying to see their nutrition info. It's great how it's not just the calories too.
