I like them both and am a big fan of Michael Symon on Iron Chef, but I agree for this show Irvine was the better fit. It would be nice to see Symon get some other show instead though...

Ilana, Manny, I agree with both of you. Robert is the best for D:I while Mike is good as Iron chef.

I never watched Dinner Impossible when Irvine hosted, but I have started watching once Symon was on it. I think he's hotter.

Fabulous!! My husband and I stopped watching Dinner Impossible once Robert was taken off. Can't wait for the new shows!

huh. i wondered why Rober Irvine wasn't doing the show anymore. I was actually pretty sad. I love him on the show. Even though he's got some character for DI, Symon should stick with Iron Chef.

That is great news. Robert Irvine just fits the show, I think. I've only seen one episode with Michael Simon, but I was turned off by his complaining and yelling at one of his helpers. Whereas Robert would build things up as challenges and eventually accept it if he couldn't get some things done, Michael seems to be more negative and came off as whiney to me. I always thought that Robert shouldn't have been booted in the first place, and I welcome his return.

I think Robert did a WAY BETTER job at this...I tried to watch a couple episodes with Micheal and it just did not feel the same. It was like watching a totally different show. Not challenging or exciting at all... I cant wait for him to host again!

I like Robert Irvine in the Dinner: Impossible show way more than Michael Symon. Symon's creepy giggly laugh bugs me. And really, I like pork, but c'mon, it's not the only ingredient out there. Plus, Robert Irvine's biceps drive me wild!

well as much as i love michael - i think that robert did a better job. i feel like mike symon is 'too nice' or something like that and he laughs about things all the time, and that's just not the tone of the show i don't think. it'll be interesting to see robert irvine back on the network.
