This is awesome! I also love oatmeal cookies, but do not like raisins in them. The only way I will eat raisins is by the handful, I hate them in cereals & baked goods.

Oh you forgot Oatmeal Cinnamon Chip cookies! Simply use the chocolate chip recipe, but put in Hershey's Cinnamon Chips instead!! Deeeelicious!

My favorite oatmeal cookie recipe is on the top of the Quaker oats box. I omit raisins and add coconut and butterscotch chips. It's always a big hit. Yum!

RAISINS ARE POISONOUS(IMHO)! At least that what I've always screamed at people who sneak them into my food. I've always HATED raisins except when they are in Raisin Bran cereal. I remember when I was little trick or treating and people gave me little boxes of raisins in my goodie bag. I would take them out and hand them back to them and say "Thank you but no thanks. Raisins are poisonous." I always got cash from those neighbors afterward, they liked my honesty instead of hurling the boxes at their houses like the other kids.

i've always been told that i'm crazy for wanting my oatmeal cookies to be raisin-free. so thank you for this (and for using the word 'untainted)!
