TV Drinks: 30 Rock — Nancy Drew AKA Hardy Boy

Nov 27 2007 - 3:28pm A few weeks ago, there was a great moment on 30 Rock that made me laugh out loud. Alec Baldwin's character, Jack Donaghy, says to the bartender, "I'll have a white rum with diet ginger ale and a splash of lime." Fast forward a few seconds later and the bartender presents him with his drink, "The Nancy Drew."

Is it weird that I hear Baldwin's voice in my head when I read, "I'll have a white rum with diet ginger ale and a splash of lime"?

Say what you will about Baldwin, he's eff-in genious as Jack.

Alec Baldwin is genius on this show. I laughed out loud when I saw that scence (just starting to watch the eps via Netflix) and I wondered if the Nancy Drew/Hardy Boy was a real drink. I'm going to order one at my office holiday party on Saturday - it sounds quite good! Smiling Thanks for posting the link to the scene!
