After watching chef Bobby Flay make a scrumptious-sounding egg salad sandwich, I ran out and purchased the ingredients. I'm glad I did because it's a deliciously filling sandwich! I couldn't help but be comforted by its classic simplicity.

Yesterday we brought you a fun little video of Bobby Flay making sandwiches, and today we've got his tips for crafting the best 'wich! While Flay is known for his superior grill skills, he's also a sponsor for Best Foods mayonnaise and a master of sandwich making. Here's how the Iron Chef recommends building a better sandwich:
- When a sandwich contains several moist ingredients (mayonnaise, tomatoes, etc), use a thick, crusty bread like ciabatta.
- When putting together a simple sandwich with fewer ingredients, like ham and cheese, select thinly sliced bread.

On a recent trip to Las Vegas, I had brunch at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill. While my entire meal was delicious, I especially enjoyed the variety of breads that accompanied the breakfast. There was crunchy coffee cake, dried fruit-tequila scone, and my absolute favorite: bite-sized jalapeno biscuits.

Let's hope Bobby Flay is ready for his latest throwdown: a lawsuit from his restaurant employees.
New York-based employees of Bold Food, the celebrity chef's restaurant group, have filed a labor violations lawsuit, alleging that the company cheated its employees out of wages. In the suit, filed late Thursday night in New York federal court, the employees claim the company engaged in improper tip-pooling practices, didn't pay correct overtime wages, and failed to reimburse workers who bought their own uniforms.

Over the holiday break I happened to watch Chefography, the hour-long show that chronicles the life of a chef on Food Network.
The episode I caught featured the life story of the boyishly charming Bobby Flay. I learned a lot about Bobby and thought a quiz would be a fun way for you to get to know the chef.

During his Thanksgiving demonstration at the Food Network NYC Wine and Food Festival, Bobby Flay made a scrumptious-sounding stuffing. I've been looking for an exciting new recipe to include on my Thanksgiving day menu, so I decided to give his recipe for wild rice and goat cheese stuffing a try. The rich stuffing is packed with delicious flavors: fragrant chorizo, milky cheese, and fresh herbs that combine to create a dish full of contrasts.

At the Food Network NYC Wine and Food Festival last month, my favorite demonstration was Bobby Flay's. Although it was early October, Flay had Thanksgiving on the mind. He loves the food-centric holiday so much that every year, he wakes up at 5 a.m.
