While on the first date with the love of her life, Édith Piaf — one of France's most beloved popstars — demands that her date, Marcel Cerdan, take her to a fancy restaurant. The boxer hopes to dine on pastrami sandwiches while Piaf— a diva in her own time — is hungry for tournedos rossini. A decadent dish that includes a thick slab of steak, foie gras, truffles, and a red-wine sauce, tournedos rossini are not for every day.

Usually, when celebrities demand things backstage, they get them. However it looks like someone at Starbucks put their foot down and refused to give in to idol-turned-diva Jennifer Hudson.
Apparently Jennifer was supposed to perform at the annual Starbucks shareholder meeting in Seattle.

Our pals over at Grub Street are reporting that Rachael Ray might not be the perfect Dunkin' Donuts spokesperson. After all, shouldn't a spokesperson like the product she's hawking? In a second-hand story, Rachael is being quoted as calling Dunkin' Donuts coffee sh*t.

Just in time for the new season of American Idol, the folks at Dreyer's/Edy's have released their "second season" of American Idol flavors. They're urging their customers to check out all five Idol-themed Slow Churned Light flavors, and then vote for their favorite. This year the flavors are:
- Cheesecake Diva — cheesecake ice cream, brownie bites, and fudge swirls
- Cookies 'n' Dreamz — chocolate ice cream with crunchy chocolate cookies
- Mint Karaoke Cookie — mint ice cream with chocolate cookies
- Most Orange-inal — vanilla ice cream with orange sorbet swirls
- One Split Wonder — banana ice cream with fruit and fudge swirls
You have until May 31 to vote, but if you cast your vote before April 29, you will be entered in a contest to win a trip to the American Idol finale.

The blogosphere is running amok with a story about a "feud" that is brewing between Martha Stewart and Nigella Lawson. Martha supposedly referred to Nigella as, "what's her name who married the Saatchi." Which caused Nigella to respond that Martha has "insecurities."
