I'm sure you had better things to do this weekend, but me, I spent mine on eBay looking at a weird number of state-shaped cornflakes. On Friday night, an Austin-based trivia-company purchased a cornflake shaped like Illinois for $1,350. That's right, Monty Kerr, owner of TriviaMania, spent over a thousand dollars on a single cornflake.

There's not much time left — the bidding ends in less than 20 hours — but a seller in the UK has posted a heart-shaped potato on ebay. Right now the bidding is only at £6 (approx $12), but if you're interested in this Valentine's Day find, you better move quick! Seems like this must be the year for heart-shaped food anomalies!

Even before my afternoon stint as a barista, I was an enthusiastic fan of Starbucks. I go there on an almost daily basis, and often bring in my reusable Starbucks "to go" tumbler. When I first bought it, I had the manager at my local store use a Sharpie to scribble shorthand for my regular order on the side (genius!).

At the historic gelateria, Malia, 11, and Sasha, 8, donned aprons to become frozen-dessert makers for the afternoon.

At an Arby's in Hendersonville, SC, Hannah Odom reached to grab a curly fry and came up long — two feet long, to be exact. In the footage below, captured by a local station, the 15-year-old shows off the unusually long fry, which she's keeping in the refrigerator. She has refrained from auctioning off the item on eBay or eating it, instead waiting to hear back from the Guinness Book of World Records.
