May 8 2007 - 1:13am Let me start off by saying, folks I am really surprised by the longevity of the "Got Milk?" campaign. These things have been going strong for what, a bajillion years now?
The poster looks cool, but this ad sounds kinda cheesy. I wished they worked better. I was reading Eric Schlossers book for kids (kinda like fast food nation, but aimed at the younguns) and
it talked about sodas and teeth and peep that don't even consider milk any more as a beverage. Sad, really.
I've always enjoyed these ads. But whether or not they are promoting a movie, tv show, sports... I still think it's a great idea. I think it's a fun way of promoting awareness and education
to the nutritional aspects of milk... especially for kids!
