i didn't even know that there was an issue! well i don't usually eat the raw cookie dough, i'm weird and get grossed out by the thought of raw eggs in there. i'd still buy it. it looks like
they fixed the issue and added warnings to better inform consumers.
The lack of common sense in this country today . . . If people want to eat raw cookie dough
they will, even with the possibility of getting sick. Hello raw eggs.
That being said, I stll enjoy raw cookie dough and will eat a lil, knowing full well it's MY own darn fault if I get sick.
i didnt know there was an ecoli problem...ive been eating it anyway! though near the end of last semester i was introduced to a "safe" egg company that had a cookie dough recipe
challenge...each contestant made a batch of cookie dough with the safe to eat raw eggs and there was a tasting contest!
I haven't eaten raw cookie dough since freshman year of college...my parents gave me a tube of Nestle Toll House cookie dough and told me to bake some cookies for me and my roommate. Well, I
ended up eating the whole tube by myself and I was so queasy after that. Haven't touched the stuff since, E. coli infested or not.

7I will continue to eat the raw cookie dough. That's the best part of baking cookies!
8There are alternatives to buying pre-made cookie dough with eggs - Google "cookie dough without eggs" and things like http://allcookiesallthetime.blogspot.com/2007/09/chocolate-chip-cookie-d... comes up. I haven't tasted any of them, though.
